Known as Dee Dee by friends and family of Fountain Valley, CA, Dee Dee was born January 9, 1919 and died on March 11, 2006 at the age of 87 from a stroke.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan where she began her showbiz career at the age of 10 with the original "Hollywood Kids".  Dee Dee was better known as Dolores Dawn of the comedy team of "Martell and Dawn".  This dancing team was famous for their syncopated tap dance, fast tap, eccentric numbers, toe ballet, and talent impersonation of Charlie Chaplin.  Martell and Dawn spent many years entertaining people at hotels, night clubs, bars, and cruise ships across the globe.  Although, she was retired from showbiz for many years, dancing always remained close to her heart.

Dee Dee was proceeded in death by her son Adrian Aleo and daughter Diane Clark.  She is survived by her son Joseph Aleo and his wife, Nickii.  Grandchildren: Jeanee Aleo, Adam Aleo, Joey Aleo; 5 great grandchildren.
